Sales Development Representative

About inploi

inploi is a London, UK-based start-up that sells a candidate experience SaaS platform to enterprise customers with 1,000+ employees. Our platform helps People teams hire candidates at scale more efficiently, and enables C-Suite decision makers to inform their strategies with data.

inploi’s customers span well-known high street brands like Superdrug and wagamama, through to local government councils and the FTSE-listed Compass Group. 

We are a team of 30 people, all hard-working, fast-moving, and fun-loving. Importantly, we are growing quickly and have an ambitious growth strategy for 2024 and beyond.

To help us generate the pipeline of new business required for this stage of growth, we are looking to add two highly-motivated individuals to join our Sales team of three Account Executives (“AEs”) as Sales Development Representatives (“SDRs”), based in our  London, UK office. 

The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) who is a self-starter and has entrepreneurial qualities to join our dynamic sales team at inploi. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sales, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. As an SDR, you will play a crucial role in our company’s journey generating new business opportunities and driving revenue growth. 

As a company moving from startup to scale up, you should be comfortable operating in a loosely structured environment, with substantial autonomy, and be prepared to roll up your sleeves, adapt as we learn, and continually seek opportunities to add value.

There are two positions available.

  • Working directly with the founding Growth team and the to shape the direction of our outbound Sales strategy
  • Working directly with the CEO to refine outbound strategy 

Responsibilities

  • Use cold-calling, email and LinkedIn to prospect our well-defined universe of targets
  • Generate a pipeline of leads and opportunities by prospecting into a well-defined list of target accounts
  • Achieve and exceed weekly targets for targets prospected and discovery meetings booked
  • Work closely with management and the UK Sales team to refine call, messaging and email strategies Partner with the wider sales team to find new ways of generating interest in inploi's offering
  • Understanding customer needs and requirements
  • Bring creativity and a personal approach to your outbound activities

Requirements

  • 6 -12+ months experience in a SDR role, ideally in recruitment and / or enterprise software
  • Demonstrated experience and success with cold outbound is required. 
  • Familiarity with HR and talent attraction technology is an advantage 
  • Experience prospecting and securing meetings with enterprises with +1,000 employees 
  • Confidence, a competitive nature, and self-motivation  
  • Ability to use mobile, Gsuite, Slack, Hubspot CRM, and other tools to contribute efficiently to the broader team’s prospecting efforts
  • Fluency in English and strong communication skills 
  • Excellent writing skills
  • A can do, solutions-oriented attitude
  • Strong organisational skills
